Don’t Answer That Question

Posted by on March 22, 2010 at 1:57 am.

I received my census form in the mail the other day. As I quickly looked over the questions, I thought you have got to be kidding me.  Sorry but I’m not answering all of these questions.  The Constitution does provide for a census (Article 1 Section 2) but as far as I can tell,  it was to provide for an enumeration of the citizens. That is, how many people there are and where they live. As to what my race  is, it’s none of big brothers business.  Did you know that information gathered from the census was used to round up Americans of Japanese descent during World War II? : http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/06/bachmann-warns-of-link-between-census-japanese-internment.php   Of course the Census Bureau web site says all of their questions are constitutional: http://2010.census.gov/2010census/why/constitutional.php  Ron Paul takes a different view than the Census Bureau: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/03/09/ron-paul-to-census-bureau-none-of-your-business/    I guess the Census Bureau has never heard of the 4th or 14th amendment.  Maybe they will arrest me. At least then I will have the right to remain silent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_silence Fortunately they can’t arrest you for failing to answer the census.  http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58679  However they can fine you (or so they say) 100 dollars.  I’m not sure if that’s 100 dollars per question or 100 dollars  for the entire form. Maybe I should call them and ask. While I’m on the phone with them maybe I will tell them I am sick and tired of the government intruding into my life.  The 2010 Census Bureau motto is “Its In Our Hands”. They are right.  It is in our hands to resist big brother and his tyranny.  I’m sure most citizens of the USA (United Sheep of America) will answer the questions without giving it a thought.  It’s time to stop rolling over to government demands. Stand up and really be counted. If you think answering a certain question on the census form is unconstitutional then DON’T ANSWER THAT QUESTION!  We must hang  together or we WILL  hang separately!                To leave a comment click on comments or click on the title of this blog (Don’t Answer That Question).  I especially would like to hear from those of you who have told me they will not answer all of their census questions.
